SKPVV Hindu High School
Gandhi Nagar, Vijayawada
2018
One of the Trust’s most impactful contributions is the revival of the historic SKPVV Hindu High School at Gandhi Nagar, Vijayawada.
Established in 1917, the school once enjoyed a stellar reputation.
However, due to decreasing public interest in Telugu-medium education, student strength dwindled from over 2,000 to barely 100.
Understanding the societal value of the school, the Trust intervened with:
A donation of ₹1.5 crore
An interest-free loan of ₹1 crore
These efforts transformed the institution, reviving both its infrastructure and its identity. Within a short period, student strength rose to 1,800.
In recognition of this remarkable revival, the institution was renamed Chitturi High School, and today it proudly operates under CBSE affiliation.
Affordable fees cater especially to lower middle-class families
Most students live within a 4 km radius, saving transportation costs
Reduced commute time enables children to participate more actively in sports and extracurricular activities
